We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Platform, including device information, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and usage patterns (via Firebase Analytics).


3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: • Operate, maintain, and improve the ABHODE Platform. • Process and manage your account registration. • Facilitate connections between renters and property owners. • Send transactional communications (e.g., interest confirmations, password resets). • Verify property owner and agent applications. • Monitor for fraud, abuse, and policy violations. • Analyse usage trends to improve our services. • Comply with legal obligations.


4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances: • With property owners/agents: When you express interest in a property, your contact details (name, phone, email) are shared with the verified property owner or agent. • With service providers: We use trusted third-party services (Firebase/Google Cloud for hosting and authentication, Cloudinary for image storage) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements. • For legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of ABHODE or others. • In a business transfer: If ABHODE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred.


5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.


6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including: • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. • Firebase Authentication for secure account access. • Firestore Security Rules to restrict data access. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

ABHODE uses essential cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the Platform and improve your experience.
